Angela Lin

Angela Lin is a Senior Software Engineer at Magic Leap since July 2021, focusing on perception-related software development. Prior experience includes a research internship at the CMU Argo Center for Autonomous Vehicle Research, concentrating on deep learning-based 3D object detection, as well as a research assistant role at the Institute of Information Science, Academia Sinica, where deep learning approaches for pedestrian detection, re-identification, and tracking were explored. Angela has also worked as a teaching assistant at National Taiwan University for various engineering courses and held a position as an undergraduate research assistant, developing an automated environmental control system for a plant factory. Academic credentials include a Master of Science in Robotics from Carnegie Mellon University and a dual degree in Bio-Mechatronics Engineering from National Taiwan University, supplemented by a summer program at the University of Oxford.
