Daniel Dominguez

Daniel Dominguez is an accomplished engineering professional with extensive experience in mechanical engineering and design. Currently serving as a Principal Mechanical Engineer at Magic Leap since January 2014, Daniel has previously held roles such as Lead Mechanical Engineer and Mechanical Designer at BlackBerry, as well as Staff Mechanical Engineer at Cross Match Technologies, where responsibilities included designing and coordinating tooling logistics for mobile fingerprint/iris scanners. With a solid foundation in the industry, Daniel spent eight years at Motorola Mobile Devices as a Senior Mechanical Engineer, focusing on bringing cellular devices to market and specializing in Six-Sigma design methodology. Academic qualifications include a Master’s degree in Optical Science from the University of Arizona and a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Florida.
