David Walker is a seasoned software engineering professional with extensive experience in embedded systems and mobile device software development. Currently serving as a Senior Manager of Embedded Software Engineering at Magic Leap since June 2016, David leads a team focused on software for the Magic Leap Control. Prior to this, David worked at BlackBerry as a Senior Embedded Developer, contributing to the development and integration of software for mobile devices. Experience also includes a role as a Senior Staff Software Engineer at General Dynamics C4 Systems, developing military applications and secure communications solutions. Additionally, David spent 18 years at Motorola in various roles, including Principal Staff Software Engineer, where responsibilities encompassed creating software for Windows Mobile smartphones and managing technical support staff for manufacturing software applications.
