Mark Rushton is a seasoned software engineering leader with extensive experience in the augmented reality and mobile technology sectors. Currently serving as Senior Director of Software Engineering at Magic Leap since August 2015, Mark has successfully led efforts to transition the company's proprietary operating system to a standard Android OS, fostering organizational buy-in and mentoring engineering teams during this change. Mark previously held the Director and Software Engineering Manager roles at Magic Leap, overseeing critical system components and growing engineering teams.
