Toby Ruiz

Toby Ruiz is a seasoned engineering professional with extensive experience in mechanical engineering and design. Currently serving as a Senior Equipment Engineer at Magic Leap since June 2021, Toby has held various senior mechanical engineering roles at Actualize-It Group, Valley Engineering Group, and Ultra Clean Technology. Prior to these positions, Toby contributed as a Mechanical Designer at Superconductor Technologies, National Oilwell Varco, and SunEdison, among others, starting a career in design and engineering at HelioVolt as a Mechanical Product Designer. Toby's early career includes roles in CAD management and toolmaking, showcasing a broad skill set developed over more than two decades. Educational qualifications include an Associate of Science in Engineering from Austin Community College and an Associate of Arts in Business from the University of Phoenix.
