Yoel Tanquero

Yoel Tanquero is a seasoned mechanical engineer with extensive experience in thermal design and engineering roles. Currently serving as a Principal Mechanical Engineer at Magic Leap since February 2019, Yoel has progressed through multiple positions including Lead Mechanical Engineer and Senior Mechanical Engineer focused on thermal design. Prior experience includes positions at GE Appliances, where Yoel worked as a Design Engineer in Structure and Thermal for cooking products, and as part of the Engineering Entry Development Program. Earlier career roles include a Technology Co-op at GE Appliances, a Technical Internship Co-op at Aeronautic Investments Inc, and a Quality/Process Technician at Brightstar Corp. Yoel holds a Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Louisville, a Bachelor of Science from Florida International University, and an Associate in Arts of Mechanical Engineering from Miami Dade College.
