Arthur Jen

Arthur Jen is the Co-Founder and CTO of Magic. Arthur was previously a software engineer at Yelp, where they co-developed and maintained a large scale distributed data platform handling millions of requests daily. Arthur also implemented a system powered by ElasticSearch + Kibana and Amazon EMR for data visualization of over 50 millions data points.

Before Yelp, Arthur worked as a cloud engineer at Inkling and as a cloud computing software developer at the Ontario Institute for Cancer Research. Arthur also has experience as a cloud operation analyst at Awareness Inc. and as a project engineering assistant at the National Center for High-Performance Computing.

Arthur Jen completed a Bachelor of Computer Science at the University of Waterloo. Arthur's field of study was computer science, and they minored in economics.
