Chris Lu

Chris Lu is the Founder and CTO of Copy.ai, a role held since 2020, while also serving as an angel investor for multiple companies including Circle.so, Beacons, Magic, ZBiotics, Zerion, and NABIS. Previously, Chris founded a stealth startup between 2019 and 2020, achieving the launch of five Gen AI applications in nine months utilizing GPT-2 and GPT-3. From 2014 to 2020, Chris was the General Partner and Head of Engineering at ESO Fund, where significant contributions included building a data platform to identify fast-growing startups and developing a real-time due diligence engine. Additionally, Chris carried a quota as a sales director and successfully closed over 100 options exercise financing transactions exceeding $20 million in invested capital. Early in the career, Chris worked in a security role at PwC in 2014 and holds degrees from Washington University in St. Louis and Sidwell Friends School.
