Michael Finn

Michael Finn has a diverse work experience spanning different industries. Michael started their career in 2011 as an Assistant Video Editor/Sound Designer, working with clients such as Nike and Mutt Inc. In 2012, they transitioned to become an Audio Engineer at Flora Recording and Playback, where they collaborated with renowned artists like My Morning Jacket and Neko Case. From 2017 to 2019, they worked as a Live Sound Engineer/Tour Manager for Gino Vannelli, managing tours globally. Michael then joined Lucius as a Live Sound Engineer/Production Manager in 2018. In 2018, they also took on the role of Live Sound Engineer for Dean Lewis, traveling worldwide for performances. In 2020, they became a Mentor at PDX Code Guild, where they facilitated weekly meetups and mentored junior developers. Michael later worked as a Full Stack Engineer at Svvarga, Inc. from 2020 to 2021, and at Neocova from 2021 to 2022. Currently, they are a Software Engineer at Magic. Throughout their career, Michael has gained valuable expertise in audio engineering, sound design, video editing, web development, and software engineering.

Michael Finn completed a Certificate in Computer Software Engineering at PDX Code Guild from 2019 to 2020. Prior to that, they pursued Political Science at Oregon State University from 2011 to 2012, although they did not obtain a degree in that field.
