Chief Customer Officer at Magic Orange

Blake Davidson has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries and roles. Blake currently serves as the Chief Customer Officer at MagicOrange, where they have been leading the Customer Success department since September 2016. Prior to that, Blake worked at Morgan Stanley as a Business Manager for the Enterprise Production Management division within Technology from December 2014 to September 2016. Blake was responsible for full financial management of the division as well as overseeing the financial management of an outsourced managed service. Before joining Morgan Stanley, Blake worked at Barclays as the VP and Head of European Real Estate Finance from April 2013 to December 2014. Earlier in their career, they held various roles at Morgan Stanley, starting as an Accountant in January 2009, then transitioning to Senior Manager in IT Finance from May 2009 to April 2013. Blake also worked briefly as an Accountant at Unilever from May 2008 to November 2008. Blake'scareer began as a Trainee Accountant at KPMG South Africa in April 2005, where they worked until April 2008.

Blake Davidson obtained a Bachelor of Commerce (B.Com.) Honours in Accounting from the University of KwaZulu-Natal in 2004. Prior to that, they completed a Bachelor of Commerce (B.Com.) degree in Accounting from the same university, spanning from 2001 to 2003. In terms of additional certifications, Blake obtained a Chartered Accountant (South Africa) qualification from the South African Institute of Chartered Accountants (SAICA) in July 2009. More recently, in February 2023, they became a FOCP: FinOps Certified Practitioner through The Linux Foundation. Additionally, Blake acquired the certification of being a MagicOrange Certified Magus from MagicOrange in March 2023.
