Mark Baker

Head Of Customer Success - APAC at Magic Orange

Mark Baker has worked in a variety of roles since 2003. Starting as an Assistant with SAICA CA(SA) in 2003, they then completed a Registered Training Contract with Nwanda Incorporated in 2005, becoming an Audit Senior. In 2011, they took on a Contract Financial Manager role at Air Chefs. In 2012, they joined Accenture as a Management Consultant, where they worked until 2015. At that time, they moved to Standard Bank Group as Finance Head for Operations Shared Services and Enablement Lead for Corporate Functions. In 2021, they moved to Accenture in South Africa as a Senior Manager within the CFO & Enterprise Value team. Most recently, in 2022, they joined MagicOrange as a Customer Success.

Mark Baker began their educational journey at Jeppe High School for Boys, where they matriculated in 2000. Mark then attended the University of Johannesburg from 2001 to 2004, where they obtained a BSc in Chemistry & Biochemistry. Following this, they obtained a BCom in Accounting from the University of Johannesburg from 2005 to 2008. Finally, they obtained an Honours in Accounting (CTA) from the University of Johannesburg in 2010. Additionally, Mark has obtained a CA(SA) certification from SAICA.
