Matthew Mottram

Matthew Mottram has a long history of working in the financial services industry. Matthew began their career in 1999 at BNY Mellon as a RAD Developer. In 2000, they joined JPMorgan Chase as a RAD Developer on the Anderson Consulting Productivity Initiative Team, where they were responsible for business analysis, process design and improvement, and application development. In 2004, they moved to Credit Suisse as a RAD Developer, where they developed a global "Cost Transparency" model for internal IT infrastructure billing. In 2006, they joined Royal Bank of Scotland as a RAD Developer and worked on the syndicated loans department. Matthew then moved to UBS Investment Bank as an Analyst Programmer, where they were responsible for process re-engineering and development of applications. In 2009, they returned to Royal Bank of Scotland as a Process & Control Project Manager and Business Analyst. In 2010, they joined Morgan Stanley as a Business Intelligence Consultant. In 2011, they joined both MagicOrange and Keyrus South Africa as COO. Finally, in 2022, they were selected as one of the 14 FinTechs to join the FinTech Innovation Lab London 2022 Cohort.

Matthew Mottram's education history includes a BSc Eng (Mech) in Mechanical Engineering from the University of KwaZulu-Natal from 1990 to 1994, as well as attendance at Howick High School from 1985 to 1989. Additionally, they have obtained certifications from Section4 and LinkedIn, including Product Engagement Strategists, Section4 Certified Platform Strategist, Section4 Certified Strategist, Section 4 Certified Complete Manager, Reasonable Cybersecurity for Business Leaders, Succeeding in DevOps, Design Thinking: Data Intelligence, Evil by Design: Persuasion in UX, and GDPR Compliance: Essential Training.
