Peter Becker

Peter Becker has a wealth of work experience, having worked in various roles for seven different companies. Peter started their career in 2008 as a Data Analyst for Comrange, followed by a role as a Finance Transition Analyst for Barclays. In 2009, they were an Application Developer / Analyst for Sucden Financial Limited before taking up a Lead Software Engineer - Systems Transformation (Group Operations) role at Lloyds Banking Group in 2010. In 2015, they joined Brismo as CTO and Data Engineer, Analytics. In 2018, they became a Data Scientist at ThoroughTec Simulation, and in 2019 they moved to MagicOrange as a Product Owner and Senior Engineer.

Peter Becker completed a BSc in Electronic Engineering from the University of KwaZulu-Natal in 2006. Peter then obtained a Microsoft Certified Professional (MCP) in 2015, and an Introduction to Digital Currencies DFIN-511 from the University of Nicosia in 2016. In the same year, they completed a Machine Learning course by Stanford University, Andrew Ng, and a Data Science Specialization by Johns Hopkins University (9 courses completed). Peter also obtained a Tackling the Challenges of Big Data certificate from MIT Professional Education and The Analytics Edge - MITx from edX. In 2020, they obtained a PL-900: Microsoft Power Platform Fundamentals from Microsoft. Currently, they are enrolled in the Stanford LEAD Executive Program at Stanford University Graduate School of Business, which they are expected to complete in 2022.
