Wayne Shearer

Wayne Shearer has had a long career in finance and accounting. Wayne began in 2002 as an Audit Manager at KPMG Australia. In 2006, they moved to Deutsche Bank as a Vice President. In 2008, they joined Select Service Partners as a Group Financial Reporting Manager. In 2010, they returned to KPMG Australia as a Senior Audit Manager. From 2011 to 2015, they worked at Thiess as a Group Finance and Accounting Manager. During this time, they also took on the role of Executive Audit Manager at Suncorp Bank. In 2018, they became a Non-Executive Director at Mountain Bike Australia Ltd. Most recently, in 2021, they became the Managing Director at MagicOrange, where they work with Enterprise CFOs, CIOs, and GMs across Australia and New Zealand to support organizations in revealing detailed insight into their consumption of technology and shared services.

Wayne Shearer received their Bachelor of Commerce (BCom) in Accounting and Economics from the University of South Africa/Universiteit van Suid-Afrika between 1995 and 1998. Wayne then attended Frawley College from 1985 to 1986. Finally, they completed a Chartered Accountant program at the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales in 2001.
