Troy Smith

Troy Smith, MBCS, is a Technical Support Engineer at MagiCAD since March 2020, focusing on quality testing, feature development, and customer success for a UK construction software start-up. Previously, Troy served as a General Assistant at Waterhouse, ensuring guest satisfaction and supporting various operational functions. Troy gained construction-related experience as a BIM Modeller Intern at BL Harbert International LLC, where responsibilities included coordination within Revit and preparing service layout drawings. Early career roles included an apprenticeship as a Fitter and Turner at Metal Component Manufacturers and as a Mechanic Apprentice at Vintage Motors, both in Harare, Zimbabwe. Troy holds a Bachelor of Engineering in Mechanical Engineering from Brunel University London and is pursuing a Master of Science in Data Science at City, University of London.
