David Dufour has over 20 years of work experience. David began their career in 2000 as a Software Engineer at Nortel Networks. In 2002, they became a Horn at Peninsula Symphony and in 2005 they became the Principal Horn at the PALO ALTO PHILHARMONIC ASSOCIATION. In 2006, they took on the role of Automation Engineer at Ruckus Wireless. In 2008, they became a Sr. QA Engineer at VMware. In 2010, they became a Software Engineer (QA) at DreamWorks Animation and Co-Principle Horn at Redwood Symphony. In 2018, they worked as a Senior Quality Assurance Engineer at both Health Fidelity and Modis Engineering contracting at Google. In 2020, they took on the role of Senior Quality Assurance Engineer at MagicCube, Inc.

David Dufour obtained their Bachelor of Arts degree in Mathematics and Computer Information Sciences from the University of California, Santa Cruz in 1993. David then went on to pursue a Master of Arts degree in Computer Engineering from Santa Clara University, which they completed in 2000.
