Head of Device Engineering at MagicCube

Peter C. has over 10 years of work experience in the engineering field. In 2006, they started as a Teaching Assistant at The University of Queensland, where they were responsible for teaching material preparation and class delivery for various engineering courses. In 2010, they became an Associate Lecturer at the same university and was responsible for the design, preparation, and delivery of classes. In the same year, they also began working at PetaLogix as a Research and Development Engineer, where they worked on R&D and consulting projects, with a focus on Linux device-driver development, embedded system development and bringup, and embedded system architecture design. In 2012, they started working at Xilinx as a Senior Software Engineer, where they were responsible for the maintenance and development of QEMU for Xilinx, with a combination of both ARM and MicroBlaze emulations. Peter also participated in the design validation effort, developing OS-level verification software for the SoC. In 2015, they returned to MagicCube, Inc. as a Principal Software Engineer and in 2017, they were promoted to Head of Device Engineering.

Peter C. began their educational journey at Brisbane Grammar School, followed by The University of Queensland, where they earned both a Bachelor of Engineering (BE) and a Bachelor of Engineering (BEng) in Electrical and Electronics Engineering between 2001 and 2005.
