As the founder of MagicDust Television, Bill Miller personifies the blend of content creation and business innovation that has become the company’s calling card. Bill forged a content/business relationship with NASCAR that led to the television series NASCAR Angels and brought together a first-of-its kind partnership with a trio of broadcast groups to create the nationally-syndicated RightThisMinute. He started his career as a documentary producer and rose to become president and general manager of KTVK and KASW in Phoenix. A pioneer in multimedia platforms, he led that company’s expansion into radio, publishing and digital businesses, shepherding KTVK through its transition from network affiliate to successful independent. Bill has served on the ABC Affiliates Board, the Board of Directors of Northern Trust Bank, is past chair of the endowment board of the Walter Cronkite School of Journalism and Mass Communications at Arizona State University, is a past chair of the boards of the Barrow Neurological Foundation and of St. Joseph’s Hospital in Phoenix. He is a member of the NATAS Gold Circle honoring his lifetime career in media.
