Hossein Makky

Hossein Makky has a diverse work experience in various technical support and analyst roles. Hossein is currently working at MagicLinks as a Technical Support Manager since March 2022. Prior to this, they worked as a Technical Support Analyst at MagicLinks from July 2021 to March 2022.

Before joining MagicLinks, Hossein worked at UKG (Ultimate Kronos Group) as a Technical Support Engineer/Spec IV from September 2020 to July 2021. Hossein also gained significant experience at Kronos Incorporated, where they served as a Technical Support Engineer/Spec IV from December 2016 to September 2020. In this role, they implemented staffing solutions using TeleStaff, advised customers on system configuration, and analyzed customer configurations to resolve issues.

Hossein has also worked as a Programmer/Analyst at Minka Lighting, Inc. for a brief period in 2016. During this time, they created and maintained Oracle reports, collaborated with internal and external resources for report conversion, and performed quality assurance.

In addition, Hossein has experience as a Technical Support Analyst at SoftPro from May 2015 to August 2016. Hossein performed concurrent technology projects during a systems conversion, installed and configured server-client software, and collaborated with third-party IT specialists.

Earlier in their career, Hossein worked at AICPA, where they had two roles. Hossein served as an Oracle Reporting Developer from October 2013 to March 2015, and as an IT Service Center Representative from June 2009 to October 2013. In these roles, they provided support and troubleshooting to end-users, participated in software set-ups and upgrades, and upgraded workstations from Windows XP to Windows 7.

Hossein also has experience as a Tax Preparer at McRoberts & Associates CPAs, Inc. in 2008 and as a Staff Accountant at TimberTech from November 2006 to October 2007. In these roles, they handled tax preparation and accounting responsibilities, including general ledger review, financial reporting, and job order management.

Hossein Makky obtained an Associate of Science degree in Business Administration from Sinclair Community College, from 1999 to 2004. Hossein then pursued a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting/Finance/MIS from Wright State University, from 2004 to 2006. In addition, they obtained a certification in "The Data Scientist's Toolbox" from Coursera Verified Certificates in March 2015.
