John Acevedo

John Acevedo has over 30 years of professional experience. John started their career in 1989 as a Director of Planning and Implementation at Berlitz International, a world leader in Global Leadership Development, Language and Cultural Consulting. In 1995, they became the Country Manager (President) of Berlitz Colombia S, where they were responsible for the operational and financial aspects of the business, including relations with the Board of Directors, Government entities, and Human Resource responsibilities. John grew the business from 1 location to 10 locations nationwide with a volume increase of 800% in 5 years. In 1996, they were appointed Area Manager for Central South America, and in 1997, they were promoted to Latin America Publishing Sales Manager, where they managed lead generation activities, trade shows, contract negotiations, import taxes, and delivery of product for over 27 different countries in Latin America. In 2001, they were appointed National Director of Berlitz Int, and in 2011, they joined Prudential Financial as a Financial Professional. In 2014, they became President of Berlitz Ecuador, and in 2018, they joined THE AVALON SCHOOL as a Lower, middle and upper school teacher. Currently, John is working as Business Development Manager at MAGMENT concrete wireless power since 2021.

John Acevedo is currently studying Physics at Universidad de Los Andes.
