Umer Farooq

Umer Farooq has a diverse work experience spanning over several years. Umer is currently the Managing Director & Head of Payments Platforms at Magnati Pay since April 2021. Prior to that, they worked as the Vice President & Head of Payments Sales Support & Implementation at First Abu Dhabi Bank (FAB) from February 2018 to April 2021.

Before joining FAB, Umer Farooq held positions at the National Bank of Abu Dhabi. Umer served as an Assistant Vice President for Acquiring and Switching Solutions from June 2017 to February 2018. Prior to that, they worked as a Senior Technical Analyst from April 2010 to June 2017.

Umer Farooq began their career as a Technical Support Analyst at Marshal Equipment LLC in January 2007 and worked there until April 2010.

Umer Farooq began their education at Sheikh Rashid Pakistan School from 1998 to 2003, where they pursued their intermediate education and studied Computer Science. Following this, Umer attended Iqra University and completed their Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) degree in Computer Science from 2003 to 2006.
