Men are facing an unprecedented loneliness epidemic, with studies showing that young men are twice as likely to report feeling isolated compared to women. At magneticAI, our core thesis is that the photo-centric paradigm of digital dating exacerbates this, creating a "dating photo" problem for men. Data from apps like Tinder reveals men often get just 1 match for every 40 likes, leading some to swipe hundreds of times without success. One viral Reddit post showed a man swiping over one million times over a decade without a date. 

To solve this, magneticAI pays women to rate men's photos, generating high-quality, large-scale attractiveness data. Using this dataset, we've built an app, using AI and statistical tools, that gives men the predicted opinions of (eventually) thousands of women. Men will be able to filter by age, ethnicity, interests, personality traits, and more. A man can finally see, for example, what introverted women, or women aged 25–32, would think of his photos.

Positioned upstream of hundreds of dating and social apps, magneticAI replaces the awkward, biased ritual of asking a female friend or sibling for feedback. 

Looking ahead, we'll license the anonymized attractiveness dataset to industries like advertising, fashion, behavioral research, casting, and any field where understanding attractiveness and perception matters.
