Laura Somers

Laura Somers is an accomplished financial accountant with extensive experience in various sectors. Since April 2008, Laura has been with Magnet Telecommunications, where responsibilities include management accounts, forecasting, cash flow projections, and product profitability analysis. Previously, Laura served as a Senior Specialist at Accenture, managing a team of eight analysts and handling cross-border finance and VAT work across EMEA and South America. Laura's earlier roles include contract positions at Fossil Group, Inc. and Altium, as well as an Audit Senior position at Newmarket Partnership, where audit plans and financial statement presentations were key responsibilities. Laura began their career as a Trainee Accountant at Pannell Kerr Forster, working on various audits and financial preparations. Laura holds an Accounting Technician qualification from Letterkenny Institute of Technology and is currently pursuing education at the Irish Tax Institute.
