Timothy Smith

Timothy Smith is an accomplished technology executive with extensive experience in technical operations and engineering management. Currently serving as SVP Technical Operations at Magnite since April 2024, Timothy oversees Site Reliability Engineering, Big Data Systems, and hybrid cloud operations. Prior to this role, Timothy was SVP & GM Global Technology Infrastructure at Xandr, responsible for production operations and cybersecurity following the acquisition by Microsoft. Timothy's experience includes leading global technical infrastructure at AppNexus and holding senior positions at SecureForce, Vonage Network, Sun Microsystems, Wayport, and UUNET Technologies, demonstrating strong capabilities in operations management, network engineering, and systems troubleshooting. Timothy holds a degree from the University of Maryland Baltimore County, completed between 1988 and 1993.
