Evan Marks

Evan Marks is an accomplished technology and management professional with extensive experience in engineering and product leadership. Currently serving as Head of Engineering at Magoosh since October 2023, Evan previously held the role of Head of Product and Engineering at the same company from July 2018 to June 2022, where leadership encompassed product, engineering, and design functions. Prior to Magoosh, Evan worked at Hired as Director of Engineering and Senior Engineering Manager briefly in 2018, and held a position as Staff Software Engineer. At BabyList from April 2014 to August 2017, Evan led the development team during significant growth phases and expansion into e-commerce. Earlier roles include Software Engineer at Fullscreen, Inc., Director of Corporate and Patron Development at Pacific Symphony, and Chief Revenue Officer at Arkansas Symphony Orchestra, where strategic leadership contributed to revenue generation efforts. Evan holds a Bachelor of Music from the University of Michigan and dual advanced degrees (MBA and MA in Arts Administration) from the University of Cincinnati.
