Yiwei Y.

Yiwei Y. has had a varied and extensive work experience. Starting in 2011, they were a Senior Design Engineer and Mechanical Engineer at Magswitch Technology, Inc. Prior to that, they were a Research Assistant at the University of Colorado at Boulder from 2009 to 2011. During this time, they designed and developed ALD corrosion tests for the Flexible Thermal Ground Plane project, and developed unique nano-scale dialysis membranes in dialysis systems for membrane protein formation utilizing ALD coated block copolymers. Finally, they were a Teaching Assistant at the University of Colorado at Boulder from 2008 to 2009, teaching Manufacturing Processes and System in the Fall of 2008 and Mechanics of Solids in the Spring of 2009.

Yiwei Y. attended Tsinghua University from 2004-2008, where they earned a Bachelor's degree in Precision Instrument and Mechanology. Yiwei then attended the University of Colorado Boulder from 2008-2011, where they earned a Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering.
