Using electromagnetic attractive and repulsive forces together with a unique flux guidance feature, Magtor has developed a high power linear electric drive, the first of its kind to use "long distance" magnetic interactions to efficiently deliver linear power in both directions.

In its most simple expression, the Magtor linear technology can be seen as an electromagnetic double-acting piston whose scalability and versatility allow its use in many hundreds of distinct applications. Used as a linear oscillator, it enables the delivery of linear mechanical power at unprecedented levels of efficiency.

As a direct application of the patent-protected Magtor technology, Magtor is currently developing linear compressors and pumps, or Magtopressors and Magtopumps with the aim to enable billions of homes, businesses and vehicles worldwide to reduce their operating costs, while significantly lowering the environmental footprint of their compression, pumping, heating, cooling and refrigeration needs.

Currently existing Air Magtopressor Demonstrators already outperform by 30+% reciprocating-piston air compressors on the market, while being smaller in size and lighter in weight.

In today's situation, where lowering mankind's environmental footprint becomes an ever more pressing and imperative need, the Magtor linear drive, Magtopressors and Magtopumps can provide a sustainable solution for the planet, and beyond.
