Emily McDowell

Emily McDowell is an experienced engineer and implementation specialist currently employed at MagView since May 2021. Prior to this role, Emily worked as a software engineer at Unum from September 2014 to June 2018, where significant contributions included transitioning the IT department to an Agile/SAFe framework and developing automated testing suites using C# and Selenium. Educationally, Emily completed graduate coursework in Mathematics at the University of South Carolina from 2012 to 2014 and earned a Bachelor of Arts in Mathematics from the University of Pennsylvania in 2011. Additional experience includes teaching college algebra and calculus at the University of South Carolina and contributing to clinical neurology research at UTHealth.
