Steve Imig

Steve Imig is a seasoned Program Administrator for the WCU Health Professions Experiences at the Mountain Area Health Education Center (MAHEC) since January 2019. Prior to this role, Steve served as the Head Men's and Women's Cross Country Coach and Assistant Track and Field Coach at North Park University from August 2011 to July 2018, while also fulfilling duties as a Student Athlete Advisory Committee Staff Representative. Earlier experience includes a position as a Health and Physical Education Teacher and Head Boy's Cross Country and Assistant Track & Field Coach at St. Charles North High School from July 2007 to July 2010, as well as serving as the Assistant Men's and Women's Cross Country and Track & Field Coach and Intramural Director at Greenville College from June 2005 to July 2007. Steve's academic credentials include a Master of Arts in Christian Ministry from North Park Theological Seminary, a Master’s Degree in Physical Education: Teaching and Coaching from Eastern Illinois University, and a Bachelor’s Degree in Health and Physical Education/Fitness from North Central College.
