German Prieto

German Prieto has a diverse work experience spanning several roles and industries. German is currently working as a Senior DevOps Engineer at Mahisoft, where they design and implements Kubernetes clusters for mobile/web applications. Prior to this, they worked as a Senior Security DevOps Engineer at Alert Logic, where they designed and implemented architectures for cloud applications. German also has experience as a Sr Software and Architecture Analyst at Transelca S.A. E.S.P. and as an IT Manager at Universidad del Atlántico. German has a background in business analysis and software development, having worked as a Senior Business Analyst at Impala Terminals and as a Senior Software Developer at C.I. Prodeco S.A. German'searly experience includes roles as an Ingeniero de Programador at Gases del Caribe S.A. ESP and an Analyst DIT at Transportes Sanchez Polo. Throughout their career, German has demonstrated expertise in project management, infrastructure provisioning, CI/CD pipelines, and analytics/big data solutions.

German Prieto completed their Master's degree in Business Intelligence from the Universitat Oberta de Catalunya from 2010 to 2012. Prior to that, they attained a Bachelor's degree in Systems Engineering from the Universidad del Norte, which they pursued from 2002 to 2007.

In addition to their formal education, German has obtained several certifications. German completed a certification in Fundamentos de Transformación digital: Procesos de aprendizaje y desarrollo from LinkedIn in August 2020. In April 2019, they obtained a Cybersecurity Specialization certification from the University of Maryland, followed by a certification in Usable Security from Coursera in March 2019. In May 2018, they completed the Python Programmer certification from DataCamp. Furthermore, German has future plans to obtain certifications in AWS, including the AWS Certified Solutions Architect - Associate in January 2023 and the AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner in December 2021.
