Ryan Prust

Ryan Prust has over 14 years of experience in product management and agile software development. Ryan began their career in 2006 as an Associate Product Manager for Raft Global, a company founded by their father. In 2012, they took on the role of Director of Advertising Sales for TownSpot Inc., where they built sales infrastructure for advertisements on TownSpot’s video network. Later that year, they became a Project Manager for LWP Group, working directly with the Managing Partner to acquire, renovate, and manage properties of historic significance. In 2014, they founded Lodge, a product that empowered hotel owners and operators to understand and reduce their energy, water, and waste use. Ryan also became a Senior Product Manager and Agile Coach at rhubarb studios, where they led product teams and stakeholders to define, prioritize, and build web, mobile, and IoT products. In 2015, they took on the role of Product Management Expert in Residence at General Assembly, where they designed and taught an 8-week agile software development course. In 2016, they became a Lead Instructor at Product School and a Product Manager and Agile Coach at Glocally. Finally, in 2018, they joined Dave.com as their Senior Product Manager, where they led product development from 30,000 to 5M users and identified the need for additional teams and product managers. Ryan currently serves as the Director of Product at Mahmee.

Ryan Prust obtained a Bachelor of Science from Indiana University Bloomington in 2012. Ryan went on to obtain certifications in Product Management: Building a Product Strategy from LinkedIn in August 2020, Google Analytics Platform Principles from Google in March 2014, and Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA) from ProTrainings in January 2021.
