The name Mahuya pays homage to the heritage of our President and Founder, Amanda Smith. Inspired by a children’s song written by her grandmother - a tribal language teacher who earned her master’s in Aboriginal language - the name refers to a clever raccoon picking berries. It reflects the adaptability and resourcefulness at the heart of our company’s mission: helping clients find the right tools to keep their operations running smoothly.
