Andy Barringer

Andy Barringer has over 17 years of work experience in a variety of roles. In 2004, they began as a Sales Representative for Cellular Sales, selling Verizon Wireless products and services. In 2007, they moved to Cellular Advantage as a Sales Consultant, selling AT&T Mobility products and services. In 2011, they joined IBM as a Client Support Representative and Client Manager, helping Fortune 500 companies save money on telecommunication bills. From 2013 to 2015, they worked at Grace Bible Church as an Administrator, providing oversight to the daily operations of the church. In 2015, they completed a coding bootcamp at The Iron Yard as a Backend Engineering & Data Science Student. From 2016 to 2019, they were a Freelance Developer and Software Engineer for Mailprotector and ACS Technologies, respectively. In 2021, they returned to Mailprotector as a Senior Software Engineer.

Andy Barringer has a Certificate in Backend Engineering & Data Science from The Iron Yard, a Bachelor's Degree in Economics from Minot State University, studied Finance and Investment at the University of Wisconsin-Madison, and a Master of Divinity (M.Div.) in Theology from The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary. Andy also holds the AWS Certified Solutions Architect - Associate certification from Amazon Web Services.
