The Main Library Alliance is a network of 60 public libraries located in Essex, Hunterdon, Morris, Somerset, Union and Warren Counties. We provide quality services, programs, learning platforms, cost-sharing, and the technology framework to keep our member libraries running 24/7.

By uniting our efforts, we strive to promote the vital role of libraries in our communities by delivering equitable, cost-effective, and forward-thinking services that address the diverse needs of library cardholders and residents in our member area.

Main aspires to be a steadfast support system for member libraries, granting access to a wide spectrum of services designed to deepen engagement within the communities we serve. In doing so, we create pathways for lifelong learning and foster opportunities for vibrant community building.
