Bill Bartee

Managing Partner at Main Sequence Ventures

Bill Bartee is a managing partner at Main Sequence Ventures. Bill has also served as a co-founder and board member of StartupAUS, a mentor at Startmate, and an external lecturer and principal instructor at the University of Sydney.

Bartee began their career as a research scientist at CSIRO, Australia's national science agency. Bill then transitioned to the startup world, co-founding Culture Amp, Accelo, and Blackbird Ventures. As managing director of Blackbird Ventures, Bartee helped the firm become one of Australia's leading venture funds for global internet startups.

In addition to their work in venture capital, Bartee is also an experienced entrepreneur. Bill is a co-founder of Autopilot, a marketing automation software company that was acquired by Salesforce in 2018.
