Steve Tooley

Steve Tooley is a seasoned professional currently serving as the National FCL Development Manager and Seafreight Development Manager at Mainfreight since January 2016. Responsibilities include managing procurement and relationships with shipping lines, overseeing high-level pricing, and facilitating global tender bids while maintaining key customer and partner relations. Previous experience includes roles in inside sales and planning for freight forwarding, as well as managing import operations for key accounts. Prior to Mainfreight, Steve held positions at Fort Richard Laboratories, Sharp Corporation of New Zealand, and Bestaff, where duties varied from inventory management to customer service. Steve earned a Bachelor of Business Studies in International Business from Massey University and has a strong educational background from the University of Otago and Auckland Grammar School.
