Munir Salau

Munir Salau has extensive experience in telecommunications and network operations, currently serving as the Head of SubSea Projects and Transmission Implementation at MainOne since May 2010. In this role, Munir leads vendor engagement and support across various regions, overseeing the administration of subsea networks and optical technology. Responsibilities also include budgeting, contract negotiation, and the implementation of cost-effective solutions to optimize operations. Prior positions include Network Operations Manager at MainOne, where high-level support for network nodes was provided, and roles at Ericsson and Celtel Nigeria, focusing on network operations and team leadership. Munir holds a Bachelor's degree in Electronic and Electrical Engineering with a major in Telecommunications from Ladoke Akintola University of Technology.
