Stephen Lewis

Stephen Lewis is a seasoned governance professional with extensive experience in the energy sector. Currently serving as a Non Executive Director at Alpine Energy Limited and Aurora Energy Limited New Zealand since November 2024 and July 2021 respectively, Lewis also holds the position of Chair and Non Executive Director at Electricity Invercargill Limited since November 2020. With a history of Non Executive Directorships at MainPower New Zealand Limited and OtagoNet Limited, alongside a strong background in consultancy with Strata Energy Consulting, Lewis has demonstrated significant leadership in various capacities, including as Chair of the Dance & Physical Theatre Trust and Community Energy Action Charitable Trust. Prior experience includes roles at National Grid, where responsibilities spanned from Commercial Director to Area Manager, complemented by an educational background in Electrical & Electronic Engineering from the University of Derby.
