David Hornik

David Hornik is a Founding Partner at Lobby Capital since January 2021 and serves as a General Partner at August Capital, where involvement as an early-stage high-tech venture investor has been ongoing since June 2000. As Executive Producer of The Lobby Conference, initiated in January 2007, David organizes annual events for leaders in digital media and enterprise/SaaS sectors. David holds board member positions at multiple companies, including Bill.com, Fastly, MaintainX, and Fletch. Teaching roles include lecturing at both Stanford University Graduate School of Business and Harvard Law School, focusing on entrepreneurship and startup creation. David's educational background includes a degree in Computer Music from Stanford University, a JD from Harvard Law School, and an M.Phil. in Criminology from the University of Cambridge, with additional training from Space Camp.
