Edgar Sierra

Edgar Sierra, Ph.D., is a senior data scientist at MaintainX, where they leverage their expertise in signal processing and machine learning to create solutions for vibration analysis. With over 10 years of experience in both research labs and industry, they have worked on significant projects involving signal decomposition, filtering, frequency estimation, and fault identification. Edgar holds a PhD in Engineering and another in Acoustics, along with a Master's in Industrial Automation and a background in Pure and Applied Mathematics and Electronic Engineering. They have received two international awards and two scholarships from the University of Lyon, and currently serve as an adjunct fellow at Victoria University, contributing to the characterization of vibrations in cargo transport vehicles.
