Sebastien Laporte is an experienced software engineering manager with a proven track record in leading engineering teams and driving product initiatives across various organizations. Currently serving as the Software Engineering Manager for the Growth Pillar at MaintainX since May 2024, Sebastien previously held leadership roles at Petal, where significant improvements were made to the internal SLDC process, and at Unity, where contributions spanned from being a Senior Backend Engineer to Engineering Manager for Unity Gaming Services. With earlier positions at Paysafe Group, ACCEO Payment Solutions, Myriad Group AG, Synchronica, Nokia, and OZ Communications, Sebastien has cultivated expertise in back-end engineering, micro-service architecture, and team management, complemented by a solid educational background in computer science from Université de Sherbrooke.
