Joseph Cammarata has had a significant career in the IT support industry, starting in 1994 with Polaris Service/Akibia. Joseph worked as a SR. Customer Engineer, providing onsite and field support for large enterprise clients, including Goldman Sachs. Joseph also supported System Administrators with maintenance and break-fix support on Sun Microsystems products.
In 1999, Cammarata joined Maintech, Incorporated as an Engineer-in-Charge, providing comprehensive onsite technical support for major financial firms. Joseph consistently exceeded performance requirements and helped clients' technical teams with maintenance and break-fix repairs. Joseph later became a Global Tech Support, serving as the company's Oracle/Sun subject matter expert and providing round-the-clock technical support to engineers worldwide. Joseph played a key role in building a world-class Oracle support operation by designing a training program for technicians.
In 2008, Cammarata was promoted to Global Operations Manager at Maintech, where they managed service delivery operations and led a high-performing team for top-tier financial clientele. In 2014, they became the Director of Operations, leading a world-class IT support operation for financial and government accounts. Joseph ensured SLA agreements were maintained for accounts ranging from smaller operations with 1,000 servers to large global firms with 50,000 servers.
Joseph Cammarata attended the DeVry Institute of Technology from 1993 to 1995, where they pursued a degree in Electrical Engineering. Prior to that, from 1990 to 1993, they attended the City University of New York-College of Staten Island, focusing on Business.
