Maison Barlovento is a senior-led strategic advisory firm specializing in the last mile of execution across climate, energy, ESG, water and sanitation, and global development. We support public, private, and multilateral clients operating in complex political, regulatory, and institutional environments where capital hesitates, mandates stall, and delivery risk is highest.

This practical, "last mile of execution" expertise—built over decades of leading complex projects for major development agencies and multilateral funds—ensures that our recommendations are not only technically rigorous but also grounded in the realities of on-the-ground delivery, political economy, and institutional capacity. Our operational fluency is reinforced by deep cultural awareness and a focus on political economy, ensuring effective community engagement that secures local buy-in for sustainable program execution.

Maison Barlovento’s value proposition extends beyond theoretical and analytical understanding; our senior advisors possess deep operational experience in the field, having successfully implemented programs in diverse and challenging environments globally. We provide targeted, flexible, technical, and senior-level capacity across early project shaping, bid and proposal support, delivery and implementation, and evaluation and portfolio management.
