Bethaney Kaye, DNP, MBA, serves as the Senior Director of Medical Affairs at Make-A-Wish America since November 2024, previously holding the position of Director of Medical Affairs at the same organization from January 2022 to November 2024. Bethaney’s experience includes a role as an Associate Professor in Global Health at the University of Wisconsin-Madison from 2010 to 2013, combined with extensive clinical practice as a Nurse Practitioner specializing in Pediatric Palliative Care at Children's Hospital Los Angeles from 2013 to 2017, and in Pain, Palliative, and Integrative Medicine at Children's Minnesota from 2017 to present. Earlier career phases include positions as a Registered Nurse in Burn/Trauma ICU at UW Health (2005-2007) and in the Pediatric Emergency Room at Ann & Robert H. Lurie Children's Hospital of Chicago (2008-2010), as well as experience as a Travel Registered Nurse with Cross Country Nurses (2007-2008). Current academic pursuits continue at the University of Wisconsin-Madison.
