John Bear

John Bear currently serves as Chair of the Board of Directors at Energy Systems Network and as a member of the Board of Directors for the Make-A-Wish Foundation. In addition, John holds the position of Chief Executive Officer at MISO, overseeing all market operations and related functions. John has extensive leadership experience, having previously served as President and Chief Operating Officer at MISO. Prior roles include significant positions at Reliant Resources, Inc., where responsibilities included profit and loss management across various regions, and Koch Industries, where John was Senior Chief Financial Officer. Educational credentials include an MBA and BBA from Southern Methodist University, along with an Advanced Management Program from INSEAD.
