Mayuko W.

Mayuko Watson is an experienced character designer currently working at Nickelodeon Animation since May 2022, primarily contributing to "The Fairly Oddparents: A New Wish" by designing characters, creating technical turnarounds for 3D modelers, and developing detailed expression and pose sheets. Additionally, Mayuko has been part of Studio Smokescreen’s “Core Collective” since March 2022 and has worked as a 2D Design Artist at MAKE since June 2019, where collaboration with a team resulted in the design and animation of innovative commercials. Mayuko holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Animation from Laguna College of Art and Design, completed in 2023, as well as prior education at Minneapolis College of Art and Design and California College of the Arts in animation-related studies.
