Sapphira Chen

Sapphira Chen is an experienced animator with a Bachelor’s degree in Character Animation from California Institute of the Arts, earned in May 2023. Currently serving as a 2D/3D Animator at MAKE since June 2023, Sapphira previously completed a classroom-based internship at Pixar Animation Studios in Summer 2022, where skills in 3D animation were honed and a portfolio developed. Earlier experience includes working as a freelance 2D Animator for Xiatiao Studio in early 2021 and contributing to the creation of animated emoji sets for Pinta Studios’ character "Ello" in 2019.
