Sam Barks

Sam Barks has worked in the 3D design and production field since 2007. In 2009, they were an Art Teacher at JPMCI, teaching children the skills of traditional art. From 2007 to 2012, Sam worked at Applica Consumer Products as a 3D Visualization Artist/Illustrator. During this same time period, they also worked as a 3D Designer and Contractor at Aniden Interactive. From 2012 to 2013, Sam was an Exhibit Designer at Lone Star Exhibits, creating construction blueprints and 3D visualizations. From 2015 to 2018, they worked as the Owner at Mixed Hues, LLC, creating illustrations, graphics, visualizations, and animations as a freelance designer. From 2018 to 2019, Sam was a Contract Designer at Frogmouth, Inc., creating custom jersey and accessory designs. Sam also worked as a 3D Instructor at Kids Can CAD Academy in 2018 and a Production Manager and Custom Cutting Assistant at MAKEATX LLC in 2018.

Sam Barks earned an Associate of Science degree in Computer Animation from The Art Institutes in 2000. Sam then went on to earn a Bachelor of Science degree in Media Arts & Animation from The Art Institutes in 2002.
