Derek Detweiler

Derek Detweiler has been in the tech industry for over 20 years. In 2021, they began their current role as Lead Creative Engineer at Makefully. From 2011 to 2021, they were a Co-founder, Game Designer and Developer at Gopherwood Studios, designing and developing games, websites, and other online interactives. From 2003 to 2011, they were the Technology Manager at the Appalachian State University Center at Hickory, managing and maintaining computer labs, presentation systems, network equipment, websites, pay-card printing system, etc. and providing technical support for student, faculty, and staff. From 1999 to 2003, they were a Berry Info-Tech Student at Berry College.

Derek Detweiler obtained a Bachelor's degree in Mathematics and Computer Science from Berry College between 1999 and 2003.
