Áine Carlin

Áine Carlin has a diverse work experience, beginning in 2009 when they graduated with a 1st Class Honours in Sport & Exercise Science from Heriot-Watt University. In 2012, they worked as a 'Fit for Life' Community Exercise Group for Edinburgh Older Peoples Service - Physiotherapy. From 2013-2014, Áine worked as a Youth Coordinator (Maternity Cover) for Benbradagh Community Support, an Artist Liason for Women of the World (WOW) Festival - City of Culture / Southbank Centre, and a Strategic Support Officer for Derry Healthy Cities. In 2015, they worked as a Second Assistant Director for Pix Productions, and a Trainee Assistant Director for Hat Trick Productions. Finally, from 2014-2016, Áine worked as a Part Time Lecturer in Sport for North West Regional College (NWRC), and an Online Producer/Director and Researcher for Makematic.

Áine Carlin's educational history includes a BSc (Hons) in Sport & Exercise Sciences from Heriot-Watt University, which they completed between 2009 and 2013. Áine also attended North West Regional College and Oakgrove Integrated College, though no degree was obtained from either institution. Additionally, Carlin has obtained certifications from the Western Health and Social Care Trust, NHS, and Health Promotion Service, including SafeTALK, Introduction to Good Clinical Practice e-learning course, and Understanding Health Promotion.
